Sandi Krakowski and Working at Home

If you are one who thought your dreams were just something that came into reality when you closed your eyes at night, and you have a strong desire to educate yourself on how to go 'up' rather than just a desire to get 'out' of where you are at, we'd love to hear from you.

‘Keep good company’ is not an outdated 20th century adage

A homemaker from Michigan, Sandi Krakowski created quite a stir when she earned more than her husband did in just 90 days working out of her home with an online business. Earning just over $ 15,000 and a top recruiter’s bonus you can only imagine how she felt when she was supposedly just ‘playing around’ with this ‘home based business thing’. As an Engineer at General Motors he stood in disbelief when he saw the magazine recognition his wife had attained. How did she generate more than he did working part time at home? With solid training, following the pattern of those who have already created the success she wanted and keeping ‘good’ company.

Sandi has always been a full-time Mom and wife, and has home-schooled her three boys over the past 14 years. She credits her success to the training of her mentor, Dani Johnson. She attracts people to her business through her enthusiasm and the use of lessons learned from her coach. Using a simple script has been a tremendous asset. Second to that is the value of understanding how various personalities think and see things differently. Sandi credits this as an enormously valuable tool in marketing and sale; learning how to talk to, approach and meet the need of all 4-personality types.

“I let people see what my business has to offer. Then, I ask how I can best help them reach their goals. By putting them first, I have achieved far more than I ever dreamed possible!!” says Sandi. There's an old saying that when one gives others what they desire, they will in turn achieve their own desires. Dale Carnegie used to teach to his students that everyone has an innate desire to be listened to, to be heard and to be respected. When practiced in the home business arena Sandi was taken back by how many people are rarely listened to in Corporate America.

I interview people everyday as I am a recruiter for our company. Surprisingly enough even the most reserved personalities can open up if you will ask them the right questions, listen and let them talk. Most times sales people don't ask very many questions, they don't listen and being silent is a real challenge when a commission check is at stake. Dani taught me that the initial earnings are not the goal I am after but rather a long term business relationship. This has proved to be very profitable for me." One would agree considering she works part time from home, 20-25 hours per week and in less than 90 days made more than her husband with a degree.

In today's business world the value you bring to the marketplace is your skill, your talent and your desire. No matter what business one works your product is people. If you sell insurance, you sell health products, if you are a doctor your product is still people is a valuable lesson Sandi Krakowski learned early on in her training.

Many of today’s colleges are producing the mindset that a degree and accomplishments secure a high paying income. While this might be true in some circles of influence, many people are beginning to pay attention to simple people creating beyond-simple results with home based businesses built online.

From her ‘office’ in the dining room of her home, Sandi generates leads with her own online marketing traffic, which is a real passion of hers. She also likes to use cooperative advertising approaches with her company such as radio campaigns, magazine, television and magazines. "Multiple exposure or saturation as I have been taught is the best," Sandi comments. "Learning to get the message out to all audiences and let them decide if it's something they are interested in."

As a woman that is devoted to being a good Mom and wife, Sandi says that “by staying faithful to what is most important and following the training of Dani Johnson, I have been able to keep my priorities in order and accomplish far more with less effort.” This sure does put a new twist on the "Woman Who Has it All" that so many women find completely overwhelming with a full-time career.

Her equally simple, but effective business philosophy is that if one conducts their business as a professional- it will pay as a professional gets paid; if one conducts their business as a hobby, it will equally pay as a hobby. ‘Keep good company’ is not an outdated 20th century adage as one can see.

LIVE like you were dying!

This statement blew me to a higher committment when I heard it in a song written by Tim McGraw. LIVE today as if you were dying!

So often we hear people say that and they think of the people they'd love more, the regrets they'd get over and so on. I AM NOT TALKING about that!

I am talking LIVE FREE!!!! Live like you were dying and there are NO LIMITS!! No one's expectations matter anymore- live like you were DESIGNED to live! Live as if the money, the marriage, the kids, the job doesn't matter!!!!

Watch what happens!!! If you take me up on it for even 24 hours- tell me what you did!

Live today, because you honestly are not promised tomorrow!

GM Not so Reliable, Sure is Good to Have Me Working at Home!

My husband has worked faithfully for GM for over 18 years.... with recent talks of health benefits being taken away, the fact that he has not had a raise in over 2 years, they put him thru school for 3 years only to say that his 'position' might not be needed and more of the 'you are replaceable' mindset that is taking place there we sure are thankful that I made TWICE what my husband did in less than 90 days working at home.

Some might ask, "Sure, how is that possible? He has a degree, a position and a solid company!" Oh really? The only thing solid about his degree is that it is on paper and the only thing he has is exactly what I have: SKILL. Your skill is your value in the marketplace, don't let Corporate America deceive you into thinking your degree gets you places. If your SKILL and your PERSONAL skills do not match that degree, you are going no where fast.

When I want to make more money, I just work more. Right now I work 20-25 hours per week and I brought home, direct deposit to my checking in May 2005 $ 8000! He had a limit set on his income and more work than he could handle, with rude annoucements like , "1 in 5 layoffs this year at GM" plaguing his mind thruout May.

What is YOUR "Plan B" and do you have it set in motion yet or are you just thinking about re-evaluating and contemplating to reconsiderate that maybe you might need another income stream in the next 60-120 days?

Working at home puts you in control. That's why I selectively choose who I will work with; I take my time interviewing those who will join my organization and I am very careful to not run an adult daycare center filled with whining, complaining adults who just want someone to tell them what to do for 40 hours.

WAKE UP and take control of your life. Rather than working to live, why don't you start LIVING and enjoying your work before it's too late.

Side note: Denver Colorado looks real good about now and considering I am plug and play, one wonders how long it will take before my husband takes that leap of faith and gives GM the pink slip they deserve!
