What does it feel like to be #1 in the company?
So often people aim to reach #1 and then when they do, one of two things occurs:
- They get a big head and ego and stop working
- They realize its just a process of the journey, give God glory and go for His next plan
Its so important to realize that being #1 in a company is not the ulitimate goal- achieving Gods best in our lives daily is the ultimate goal and that occurs one day at a time.
The last day of Nov I was near the middle of the Bonus Charts and my coach, Dani Johnson www.danijohnson.com encouraged me to DOMINATE. Thats all it took- but its kind of funny, I didn't work 20 hours a day and drive till I dropped ... what I did was ask God to do what I could not do alone, without Him.
He is the only One who satisfies. He is the only One that can give you favor with men and give you far more results than you could ever produce on your own. So I went to work, asked Him to bless everything I did, and asked Him to give me favor where I might not otherwise have it.
HE SHOWED UP. Things went farther than I thought!
The comments came back, "How did she do that, she was sand-bagging all month."
"Oh there she goes again only working one day a month and then finally working."
I am so overwhelmed with the way that people use their own mouths to destroy their own lives. Its not the devil, its not some satanic force- its the life and death that is in the power of the tongue!
When we see someone win, and someone soar, my Bible and my TWO personal coaches have encouraged me to praise that person, really truly rejoice in their success. Because when we judge, we get jealous and we say things like "Oh they can do that but if they'd just work all month now that would be an accomplishment," we literally shut up the heavens from raining down on us a blessing.
We literally bring curses on our own lives, we bring pain and suffering everytime we judge someone.
Ever heard someone say, "Oh their sick, must be a spanking from God" "Oh, they lost alot, must be God teaching them."
Let not another man judge his neighbor or the very judgement he hands out will come back to him, a hundred fold.
Little did anyone know that we had personally earned over $7,000 with our marketing business that month, paid down our mortgage by over $10,000, given to those who are in need in a way we had never before, sought God's face about where we were going in 2006. As well daily calls were being made to leads, daily interaction with our group- to say the least, we weren't sand bagging, but it's ironic because the very one(s) who might have thought we were, were actually the ones slacking off and looking for someone else to validate their unfaithfulness. I pray a blessing on those people, I asked God to bring their business to new heights and to have mercy.
So- what does if feel like to be #1 in a company? It's exciting, it's challenging, it's a rush, it's a trial- but all in all, if GOD does not get the glory, it's short lived. If He DOES get the glory, it's a dream, it's exciting and it's all that God designed- ENTHUSING ---->>> power to get to the next goal.
